Sabryna Liddle
Sabryna discovered the value of health and fitness in her late 20's after moving to Colorado. As a 40 year old married mother of 2, she loves combining running, cycling, hiking, skiing and weight training, depending on the day. She's an experienced coach and veteran of multiple road races, including three marathons. Sabryna has discovered that a healthy body leads to a healthy mind and a happy life, and as your wellness coach she knows she can help you reach your full health potential.
Robin Otterstetter
As a Triathlete and Runner, this 40ish mother of two knows the value of staying healthy and fit. She has learned the benefits of, and the "how to" in making time for what's important in spite of the busy-ness of life. As your employee wellness coach, accountability partner and listening ear, Robin will effectively help you to do the same for the long haul. A graduate of Texas Tech University, she makes her home in Colorado with her husband of 17 years, enjoying everything from golf to hiking the many 14,000 foot peaks in the Rocky Mountains.
Jill Herrick
Jill's degree is in chemical engineering but she chose to spend the past eight years raising her three young children. Now, she has turned her attention towards pursuing her passion of wellness coaching.
She is an avid triathlete and has had success at many levels, from participating in local races to most recently competing at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Clearwater, FL. Jill typically competes in over 15 running and multi-sport races every year and she now has the Ironman on her radar screen. Jill makes it a priority to balance her family life with her intense training schedule and she enjoys helping others do the same.
Trish Downing
Trish Downing, a paraplegic athlete, is the second female wheelchair racer (first female paraplegic) to complete an Iron distance triathlon. She is a member of the physically challenged National Triathlon Team and a pioneer in women's wheelchair triathlon. She was a competitive cyclist from 1997-2000, but her career was cut short when she was hit head-on by a car while on a training ride in the fall of 2000 (September 17th) in Golden, Colo.
Trish has completed 13 marathons and a variety of triathlons from sprint to Iron distance. She was one of four athletes featured in the Disney film, Superior Beings, which aired on ESPN in addition to a number of other nationally televised specials, magazines and news articles. Trish lives the message of "You Can - without excuse." If she's your wellness coach, you'll have the chance to learn the secrets to doing the same.
Shelley Bonjean
Shelley has always had an interest in health and wellness and continues to fine tune herself as she goes. Finding out that she is gluten, egg and dairy intolerant has led to a continued interest in researching dietary needs and issues. She enjoys an active lifestyle in beautiful Colorado with her husband and three boys. She has run many half marathons, competed on a ski team and ski instructed, rowed on a crew team, enjoys rock climbing, water skiing, and many other adventures!
Shelley believes health and happiness come from a balance of diet and exercise, and a general positive attitude and willingness to make the daily choices to improve yourself. She looks forward to helping you realize your wellness goals and reach your full potential!
Pardess Mitchell
Pardess's career focuses on helping people improve their health. She received both her Undergraduate and Graduate degrees in Health Education and has always had a strong desire to help others make decisions that will improve their wellness status. Pardess believes that everyone has the ability to move toward an enhanced wellness status and enjoys helping people overcome barriers that stand in the way of their own wellness. Pardess enjoys dancing, aerobic exercise, and ice-skating. Her interests and strengths in wellness are time management, stress management, fitness improvement and nutrition. She is married with two small boys and enjoys involving her family in many fitness activities. She is passionate about being a good role model for her two small boys to help them develop a passion for a healthy lifestyle.
Jody Hansen
Jody has been an avid fitness enthusiast since high school and has always kept her eyes out for fun and new ways to stay fit and healthy. She began reading about fitness and nutrition very early in life and continues to research the topic daily, seeking ways to improve both her own health and that of those around her. After a career in marketing communications and consulting, she is now enjoying her lifelong ambition of coming alongside others as they move toward a life of overall health and wellness. Jody has lived with chronic back pain, which has taught her the importance of listening to the body and creating a life of balance. This balance includes hiking, cycling, golf, walking. especially when these activities include her husband, son and daughter.
Lauren Sherwood
Lauren is an active mother of twins (some would argue there's no other choice!). She holds a Masters Degree in Education and has spent time teaching high school science, coaching track and cross country, and training peers across the country in various teen mentoring programs. She is an amateur triathlete and a founding member of a mountain area triathlon club.
Leading by example is critical to Lauren. She sees her healthy lifestyle as much more than training for one specific event or season. Rather, it is a way of life, a part of who she is. And through her coaching, she's found a way to share that way of life with others.
Maureen Roben
Simply stated - Maureen can run! In 1987, she was the No. 1 female Marathoner in America. She has registered scores of course records across the country, and is one of six American women who have qualified for four (4) Olympic Trials since the inception of the marathon (1984). She competed worldwide from 1985- 1991 for the Reebok Racing Team and represented the US in the Goodwill Games in Russia, finishing 4th overall in the marathon.
And she's a great coach. From being the head track coach for JFK High School and Team In Training events to running camps and frequent speaking engagements, Maureen is seen as one of the premier experts in the arena of health and fitness.
Maureen has been married for 20 years and has two children who are avid athletes themselves. She loves watching them compete and spending casual family time hiking and cycling.
Julenne Updegraff
Julenne, a busy 40ish mother of three is a former long-term counselor, manager and trainer for Jenny Craig International. She is passionate about healthy eating and helping others learn to make consistently wise choices in regards to their nutrition as well. She enjoys jogging with her dog Addie, playing tennis, hiking, cycling and walking. Julenne doesn't simply talk about maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle - she lives it!
Cathy Iarusso
As a kid, Cathy took dance lessons (ballet, tap, jazz) for 13 years and continued on in high school as a member of the drill team, dancing at football and basketball games. In addition to dancing, she also ran (as in sprinted) as a member of the track team in high school because she hated long distance running!
As an adult, Cathy never followed any kind of regular exercise program until 3 years ago. Her brother was diagnosed with MS that year, and a friend of encouraged her to try to ride the MS-150. 4 years later, she'll be riding in her 4th MS-150 and pursuing her first triathlon. In addition, she loves to hike, ski and do anything that enables her to be outside!
As a mom of 3 kids, it's very important to Cathy to remain healthy and strong so that she can have fun, be a positive influence, and instill these values so that they can live their whole lives as healthy as possible!
Krista Kinnaird
Krista has been active her entire life, growing up with dance, soccer, and softball and then committing to poms and soccer in high school. She soon realized that staying fit was easy when she "had" to go to practice all the time. However, once in college, she discovered that she – and only she- had to be the one truly responsible for her health own and fitness. Majoring in Health and Exercise Science in college was a perfect fit for Krista to learn about her own wellness and provide an outlet to be able to share that passion with others.
Krista is a Certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist and has spent most of the past decade working in corporate wellness and as a personal trainer. She loves to run, bike, camp, hike, backpack, ski, snowshoe, dance, travel, and enjoy the outdoors with her husband, family, and two puppies. When the weather isn’t cooperating, she moves indoors and enjoys lifting weights, teaching spin classes, and leading boot camp classes. Krista realizes that everyone is on a unique wellness journey and she is passionate about helping people realize and then exceed their potential!
Leslie Polasek
Leslie has always made exercise a priority in her life. She also realizes that true health does not just involve one side of the equation. Rather, by combining healthy eating with regular exercise, positive changes can (and almost always will) occur. She loves working with others to help them improve both their outlook and approach to "being well."
Kathie Hamby
A graduate of Montana State University, Kathie has learned to juggle the pressures and time constraints of life with her husband of 18 years, 2 kids, and their dog Bailey. While her favorite exercise is walking good ol' Bailey, she also enjoys getting the heart pumping with a variety of cardio activities and light weight training, along with Pilates for core stabilization and flexibility. In addition to her exercise pursuits, Kathie is on a never-ending search for easy (but healthy) meals for her busy family.
Renate Shafter
Renate is a former high school English Teacher who learned the hard way about getting back into shape after the birth of her four children. Now, in addition to chasing her kids around, she has fallen in love with mountain biking, hiking, skiing, running and dancing.
Constantly learning, she is consistently reading everything from books to internet articles on the best way to get and stay healthy, providing new ideas and up-to-date applications which she can then share with her coaching clients. She's a strong believer that making daily positive decisions about living a healthy lifestyle helps empower people in every aspect of their lives.
Mary Walinchus
Mary's primary focus in life truly is fitness & health. She begins this at home and carries it into all aspects of her life. Mary's interest in health and fitness began early. Active in competitive sports in college, she continues to stay active by running, playing tennis, camping, fishing and hiking. As a mother of three, she loves including her entire family in all of these activities.
Mary is a Certified Fitness Instructor, trained in teaching Pilates, Yoga, Swimming, Senior and Kid Fitness. She also combines her love of staying healthy with eating right, knowing nutrition is a key part of overall health and wellness. Mary's belief that it's not just teaching the class that's important, but to be a part of each person's fitness and wellness goals. Mary believes it's the small steps of change to a healthier lifestyle that make the biggest difference over the long haul.
Susan Skinner
Originally from Connecticut, Susan has been passionate about fitness and health most of her life. Following an undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut, she worked for many years in the pharmaceutical industry. More recently, Susan earned her Master’s Degree in Health Promotion Management and also works as a Certified Personal Trainer.
Susan enjoys participating in various activities including skiing, hiking, triathlons, and mountain biking . She resides in Evergreen, CO with her two children and is passionate about helping others achieve their health and wellness goals. She seeks out opportunities to enhance her personal growth and believes that “what lies behind us and before us is small as compared to what lies within us.”
Wendy Polulech
Whether running, hiking or skiing, Wendy is happiest when she is out enjoying the beautiful outdoors. Running is her current passion - any distsance from 5k to marathon. Long ago, she decided she needed a career that incorporated her healthy lifestyle and her desire to help others do the same. After many years in the corporate world, Wendy went back to Colorado State University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion. Her corporate background provides her with a special understanding of the barriers people face when it comes to living well. She enjoys guiding people through their journey to overall wellness.
Jennifer Manta
Fitness has always been a major part of Jennifer's life. She started running and swimming competitively
in grade school, and then taught and coached swimming. She still competes in an occasional triathlon and runs races from 5K to marathons.
Interestingly, she graduated with a BS in International Marketing from the University of Colorado where she fell in love with the mountains and Colorado lifestyle. As a mother of three boys, she realizes the importance of balancing an active life with overall good health. After several years in Sales and Marketing, she is happy to be following her true passion as your Wellness Coach!
Sara Bernstein
Sara lives in Indianapolis, IN with her husband and 2 sons. She is a licensed Social Worker and as well as a licensed Wellcoach®. She received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Indiana University and then spent many years practicing social work in a variety of social service settings, working with both adults and children.
A healthy pursuit of wellness has always been a focus for Sara. She truly understands that wellness is a lifestyle and is more than just eating right and exercising. She knows the challenges of balancing family, work and wellness, and realizes as we grow and our lives change, our wellness needs may change too. Sara brings this perspective into her primary areas of emphasis with stress management, nutrition and fitness.
Sara stays fit by cycling with her family, running, dancing, and going to the gym. When Sara isn't coaching, she likes to relax by laughing with her boys, making jewelry, and reading non-fiction books.
Barbra Miller
Barbra is a Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT) and Sports Nutritionist (NASN) and knows well that exercise and healthy eating are needed to maintain her health and enhance her quality of life. She believes that health is one of life’s greatest gifts and that life is short, therefore a healthy life is a priority for her! She would rather spend time exercising than spend time being sick. Barbra has always enjoyed getting outside and being active. Since living in Colorado she especially enjoys trail running along with hiking, skiing, biking, weight training and yoga. After the birth of her 2 kids she realized the benefits of weight training and how great it feels to have a strong body! She is hooked on weight training and has found the strength gains make all of her outdoor activities more enjoyable (and eliminated her knee pain with distance running). Even though she has been running most of her life, just last year she participated in her first actual road races. This year she is planning on her first Marathon.
Christine Zach
Christine has a healthcare background with degrees in naturopathic medicine, massage therapy, and exercise science. She has spent several years working with individuals, in various ways, helping them to achieve health and wellness in their daily lives. She truly enjoys assisting individuals to find ways to incorporate healthy behaviors so they can feel well and live the life they want to live.
Christine grew up in Colorado and spent a lot of time on her bike, enjoying the tremendous trail system throughout Denver. Since moving to the state of Washington, she and her husband have discovered hiking, snowshoeing, and backpacking and enjoy exploring all that nature has to offer in this part of the world. She consistently strives to maintain balance and healthy habits in her own life through whole foods cooking, exercise, gardening, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Camille Smith
Camille, a solid runner and overall athlete, has been married for 21 years and is the proud mother of two daughters. Her love of running has recently drawn her back into road racing and even a touch of triathlon competition, where she's experienced very positive results. She also enjoys cross country skiing and sea kayaking. She believes staying active is critical to keeping life and living in perspective.
Dan McKenna
Dan has been interested personally and professionally in health and wellness for many years. He is a 40 year old, married, father of two young girls. He has competed internationally as a cyclist and enjoys distance running, alpine and cross country skiing, mountain biking, inline skating, and climbing. After completing an undergraduate degree in Psychology, he completed certification in biofeedback therapy and completed a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology. He has 16 years of experience working in healthcare as a biofeedback therapist and counselor. He is fluent in Spanish and enjoys cooking, music, and volunteering for non-profit groups.
Dana Wiser
Dana is a former corporate wellness consultant where she designed programs to help individuals meet their health and fitness goals. She resides in Charlotte, North Carolina and enjoys mixing up her fitness program with indoor spinning classes, outdoor cycling, strength training, swimming, walking, or racquet ball. Dana also loves to hike and has a Grand Canyon rim to rim hike under her belt. Staying active is both her lifestyle and her passion. Knowing that staying fit is just one component, Dana balances her fitness program with healthy eating habits. Dana has a strong compassion for helping others reach their health goals in a way that fits their individuality and lifestyle. She knows the power of "one size fits one".
Diane Hopkins
Diane must consistently juggle a hectic schedule between work, family and volunteer contributions. She's married to an extreme athlete and is extremely involved in the therapy of her special needs child. A graduate of the University of Wyoming, Diane has been involved in athletics since a young age, including competitive track and cross country. She now enjoys competing as a runner (still trying to beat her times!), as well as golf and cycling with the family. In the midst of everything, she keeps a focus on health and wellness for herself and those around her, and loves making a difference in the lives of her clients.
Cara Booth
Cara believes whole-heartedly in the benefits of healthy choices. And she understands fully this is not only in respect to physical health, but emotional and mental well-being too. As the busy working mother of two active kids, Cara is well aware of the difficulty – and value - in carving out time to pursue her own health and wellness goals, including running marathons and summiting some of Colorado’s spectacular 14ers.
Cara has a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy and enjoys continuing to learn more about the many different facets of living well. Her passions include daily exercise, running, pilates, snowshoeing, hiking, tennis, scrapbooking, and family time. As your wellness coach, Cara is excited to build a relationship with you, encourage you along the way and celebrate with you as you reach your personal wellness goals.
Jane Cantlin
A lifelong student of nutrition, exercise, and stress management, Jane has enjoyed coaching others on many levels. Certified in several areas of exercise, she has instructed a range of classes from toddlers' tumbling and dance to adult fitness. Jane is a personal trainer and has benefitted from working with a variety of clients, including designing yoga for physically challenged clients, and strength training octogenarians. She loves being a positive energy. Her most recent motivation for staying healthy and in shape is a very energetic grandson. Jane keeps fit getting pleasure from yoga, biking, walking, skiing, and dancing to almost any kind of music. Creative art is one of her passions, and faux painting is the latest endeavor.
Kristen Kastner
Kristen grew up living an active lifestyle through team sports. A graduate of Abilene Christian University with a BS in Exercise Science and Health Promotion, she moved to Dallas to share her passion of health and wellness with others. Living a busy life she quickly learned the importance of scheduling time for her health. She found the beauty of health not only through fitness, but also with sleep, relaxation and stress reduction.
Laura Henelund
Laura, a Colorado native, has been passionately pursuing the field of health and wellness for over 20 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Colorado State University and a Master of Arts degree in Health Psychology from Sonoma State University in Northern California. She has close to 10 years of clinical experience working as a Certified Biofeedback Therapist and Wellness Coach, focusing on stress management, relaxation and life balance strategies in addition to more traditional wellness pursuits.
Laura has been married for almost 20 years to a wonderful man from Sweden and spends time living between Sweden and Colorado with her husband, teenage son and their two dogs. She loves healthy baking (yes, there is such a thing!), cooking and enjoys spinning, lifting weights, hiking, camping, biking, snow shoeing and traveling. She is consistently inspired by people’s capacity for change and growth and never misses an episode of “The Biggest Loser!” As your wellness coach she is confident she can help you make wellness a lifetime journey taken one day at a time!
Edith DeCraene
dith, a Physical Therapist since 1985, grew up outside of Antwerp, Belgium before eventually moving to the US. Her background has resulted in fluency in English, Flemish, Dutch and Spanish in addition to her knowledge as a Wellness Coach.
Edith was always interested in running/jogging and road biking, especially spurred on by her brothers. Her husband convinced her to add mountain biking and they both can be seen on various trails and open space parks around their home in Evergreen, Colorado.
Her exercises vary according to the situation and have included volleyball, indoor soccer, and karate (where she earned a brown belt) and has even done Zumba in Peru with the South American ladies when she lived there with her family. However, she prefers the great outdoors for downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, camping, canyon treks and more.
Suzanne Brown
Suzanne is a Registered Dietitian and an American College of Sports Medicine certified Health Fitness Specialist. With degrees in Human Biology and Clinical Nutrition, she has spent over 13 years motivating clients to gain control of their own bodies. She combines traditional nutrition science with progressive approaches to weight management, fitness, and disease prevention. Suzanne has worked extensively with individual clients, groups, and corporations; and has appeared on both television and radio.
Every day she balances family, work, and taking care of her own needs by indulging in healthy foods, daily exercise, and positive thinking. She and her husband savor every free moment with their daughter and son by exploring the sunny Colorado mountain playground where they live. If they are not galloping their horses across quiet meadows, they are hiking, camping, snowshoeing, or cooking up delicious and healthy foods together. As your wellness coach, Suzanne wants to help you find your own balance so you can live the healthier and fuller life you've always wanted!
Liz Brown
As a Wellness Coach and Personal Trainer, Liz has experienced first-hand the fact that leading an active and healthy lifestyle is a powerful way to live a fulfilled life of balance and happiness. Being an Ohio native, Liz now enjoys all the benefits of living in the Colorado mountains and has fully embraced tthe lifestye of camping, hiking, trail running and skiing.
Liz truly loves to help to people realize and actualize their goals not only on a physical level, but also mental and emotional as well. As your Wellness Coach, she will come alongside and help guide you toward success in all the various arenas of your life.
Deb Wilmot
Deb is always learning especially in the areas of health, wellness and the human body. She's a certified Wellness Coach, Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and has her degree from Iowa State University in a combination of Zoology, Psychology and Physical Education). Deb grew up in the gym as the daughter of a PE Teacher and wrestling coach. She was a gymnast as a child and a springboard diver in high school and college. She now enjoys running, hiking, cycling, yoga, weight training, snowshoeing, skiing, rock climbing and tennis and has run races from the 5K through the full marathon. Deb enjoys the outdoors with her husband and three kids in the Colorado outdoors. She lives and coaches based on the philosophy that big life challenges can be tackled effectively by designing a series of little changes that build on each other. Then one day – you're there!
Jennifer Rottler
Jennifer is a licensed Physical Therapist with an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology. She has also obtained a certification from the Schwarzbein Institute in basic nutrition and lifestyle modification based on endocrinology principles. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family which includes one awesome daughter, one loving husband and two crazy dogs as well as a large extended family. Although Jennifer is not an elite athlete she has always enjoyed being athletic and participating in physical activities. She played soccer and swam in high school. Now, she loves hiking, skiing and doing just about anything outside. She bought her first road bike last year and is now hooked on biking and likes to do Sprint Triathlons. However she also knows what it is like to struggle with weight and other health issues. In the past 10 years Jennifer has learned (and is continuing to learn) the importance of leading a balanced life and believes that everyone has the potential to achieve their wellness goals. Her favorite quote is compliments of hockey great Wayne Gretzky: "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take"
