Who We Are

US Corporate Wellness, Inc. was launched at the kitchen table in a small home in the foothills of Colorado by Brad and Suzanna Cooper, a married couple with 3 young children, backgrounds in health care, and a desire to make a difference. In many ways, the strategy provided to clients mirrored their parenting approach: Support the unique differences of each individual… Model and communicate high (yet personalized) expectations and accountability… Cheer them on (love them) every step of the way… and then repeat! Fortunately, this strategy not only resulted in 3 great young adults, but also has helped a long list of organizations and tens of thousands of employee participants create their own #BetterThanYesterday.

The organization has now grown immensely from those early days, but the cornerstone remains unchanged. The US Corporate Wellness Team continues to focus on designing strategies that create lasting, meaningful change in the lives of individuals and the resultant ripple effect. Not only is each employee’s life enhanced, but so are the lives of those around her. As a result, organizations are able to make a positive difference while simultaneously creating a strong and sustainable ROI across several measurable components. And yes, Suzanna & Brad are still intimately involved with the company – and still married 🙂

What We Do

The strategy? Engage… Measure… Optimize. While personal accountability must always be a central component, it is supported through personal engagement and an individualized improvement process. Rather than trying to change the core of an individual employee from the outside, we work with the individual in a meaningful way to help create a tomorrow that is a little better than today. In doing so, the organization gleans a strong ROI while simultaneously enhancing the lives of the organization’s purported “most valuable asset.”

Today, the US Corporate Wellness Team is comprised of a wide range of coaches, health care providers and experts from around the country, many of whom can be seen on our Coach page. In the beginning, however, it was the vision, work and faith of our Founders that helped make US Corporate Wellness into the model for personalized employee wellness that it is today.

Mr. Cooper is a nationally recognized thought leader in the health and wellness industry and has been featured in multiple publications as the “World’s Fittest CEO” based on events of 2015. He is the author of 4 books, including the latest release from Thompson Publishing titled Employee Wellness: Implementing a High Impact, High ROI Strategy. Mr. Cooper is a Licensed Physical Therapist, Certified Athletic Trainer and highly sought-after speaker. He has spoken professionally in all 50 states to organizations ranging from the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Society for Human Resource Management to the Olympic Training Center. At age 49, he became the first person ever to complete the “Endurance Trifecta” of qualifying for both the Boston Marathon and the Hawaii Ironman World Championship, as well as winning the 3,000 mile Race Across America (RAAM – 2 person division) in a single year. He is an 11-time Ironman finisher, a 4 time Hawaii Ironman Triathlon World Championship competitor and top Masters runner. Mr. Cooper not only talks about health and wellness, he lives it!

Recognized as one of Colorado’s “Most Outstanding Women In Business,” Suzanna is responsible for developing the most personalized and relationship-oriented employee wellness coaching design in the industry. She brings dual Masters degrees and an extensive educational and practical background in Counseling, Psychology and Occupational Health, as well as a license in Occupational Therapy to the table. In addition, she has combined this with advanced training in positive behavior change with a specialized focus on Intrinsic Coaching and Motivational Interviewing. Mrs. Cooper is one of a very select group of individuals to have been invited to participate as part of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers, a collection of the best and brightest minds from across the globe in this specialty area. The CWC designation as a Certified Wellness Coach, available exclusively through our own Catalyst Coaching Institute, is a result of years of research, training and fine-tuning by Mrs. Cooper, placing the most critical tools and training into the hands and minds of wellness coaches across the country. Personally, she enjoys everything from hiking and skiing to tennis and an occasional half marathon.
